As part of a class project, I had to design and build a jack in the box using a 3D printer and a laser cutter. I wanted to make the box UFO/space themed, so laser etching and 3D printed objects were designed accordingly. For the "Jack", I decided to 3D print a flying saucer for my space-themed box. The box itself was cut based on svgs from an Illustrator file, and was also etched with an alien head using the laser cutter. I also incorporated some audio elements into the box.
